Courses (B.Ed & D.El.Ed)

The University provides the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) & Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course with the aim to impart quality teacher education for the pre-service teachers of secondary and higher secondary levels. Under the broad domain of the applied discipline of Education, the B. Ed & D.El.Ed curriculum has been framed on the basis on the recommendations of the reports of UGC Curriculum Review Committee (2002), West Bengal Higher Education Council (2002), NCTE (2000 and 2001) and the statutory bodies of the University of Kalyani. The course offered in this college is the degree in "Bachelor of Education" & "Diploma in Elementary Education" (D.El.Ed) under respectively WBUTTEPA & W.B.B.P.E.

Eligibility Criteria (B.Ed)

B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/M.A/M.Sc/M.Com. degree of any other Universities under 1+2+3 pattern or of any University of as equivalent there to minimum marks required in 50% for general category and 45% for the students of SC/ST category as per NCTE norms.

Intake : 100 Seats (2 Unit)

Eligibility Criteria (D.El.Ed)

Passed H.S OR Equivalent with 50% marks, For S.C, ST, OBC, PWD 5% Relaxtation.

Intake : 50 Seats (1 Unit)
